Hi, I’m Betsy the patternmaker for SBCC Patterns.

I’ve always been the smallest size on the rack and even then clothes just never fit right. As I became more aware of my shape and proportions I realized there was definitely a niche to fill for other petites who want to make their own clothing without having to do a lot of alterations.

SBCC is my pet project and testing ground for fitting concepts and theories. My primary role is owner and patternmaker of Garmenta Apparel, an apparel product development service for the garment industry, focused on mass production and serving the needs of small designers and large retailers.
